When you watch (and maybe play) Texas Holdem Poker, you may hear the expression Poker VPIP - what it means is "Voluntarily Put Dollars In Pot". This is the percentage of times a player put money into the pot by choice i.e. not a blind.

So to consider the poker VPIP; a player who has played six hands and put money into the pot four times including his two blinds their poker VPIP would be 50% as they have chosen to put money into the pot two of the four hands.
